Browsing Posts in Webmastering

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of blog posts. I really could not think of anything interesting to blog about because instead of experimenting with various methods I actually sat down and worked for a bit. Recently I’ve been doing a lot of CPA marketing  and realised that CPA getaways are still one of my favorite methods. After numerous experiments with home made getaways I kept on coming back to CPAlead. Let me quickly explain how CPAlead works. CPA getaway is basically a lock for your content. In order o unlock the content user must first complete a survey. After joining CPAlead you will be able to generate a bit of code you can copy and paste into the page you need to protect. The only way users will then be able to access that page is by completing a CPA offer and therefore making you $1 to $3. The offers actually vary between $0.20 and $20 but I suggest you disable all the low paying ones and stick to $1 to $3 offers for maximum revenue.

So how exactly can you make money with CPAlead you may ask? This is the best part. CPAlead allows you to use their getaway on pretty much every website but adult. There are millions of people online constantly looking for free stuff ranging from things they can download such as ebooks and movies to various invites and coupon codes. I used my old marketing ebooks a few times and simply let everyone download a free copy via my getaway. I hit around $120 the first day and this is when I realized how much money can be made with CPA getaways.

Now to the challenge. From the first of June I will start from scratch and work 4 hours per day finding various free things people want using Google trends, creating getaways and promoting them on various popular websites related to the things I promote. I think it should not be long before I hit my first $100 day but lets just keep it at $100 meanwhile because that seems to be the number most people are after. $0 to $100/day with in 30 days. Can I do it? Keep an eye on my future updates.

Actually, lets get Twitter involved! It would be easier for me to post smaller updates and daily earnings on there. You can follow me here.

A few months ago i decided to buy a little proxy and see for myself what the fuss is all about. I simply could not be bothered starting from scratch so i purchased a proxy for $60 which already had some nice search engine traffic. Within the first week i realised that it is a waste of my server resources. So i simply made it unusable by removing the search form. To my surprise my CTR went through the roof. I was no longer using up my bandwidth yet this little proxy would make 5 times the money from Adsense. It earned me just under $600 within the last few months. Not bad eh?

From the users point of view… They search for the proxy on Google and when they find one they realise that it does not actually work. They still need to a proxy so they click on the Adsense ad because this is just what it is displaying.

Fair enough… this user will probably never come back but who cares? As long as i have a fresh stream of daily visitors from SE’s I’m happy running a static page that needs no work what so ever and does not use any of my resources.

1) I have spare server capacity which means that whenever I feel like starting a new website all I need is a domain name. At a few bucks per year there is nothing to worry about financially.

2) It is much easier to get your website to generate you $5/day than $50/day. You can then repeat the process 10 times and end up earning $50 relatively easy.

3) A lot of websites does not always mean a lot of work. I have a network of automated blogs that generate their own content automatically and even bookmark themselves in various social bookmarking sites. I also have 3 directories that I have not touched for around 2 years. Despite the lack of attention they still generate me a few dollars every week.

4) I don’t like putting too many eggs in one basket. I like to have many revenue streams as well as sources of traffic. If something goes horribly wrong I should be able to minimize the damage.

5) Search engines like mature domains. Therefore you website should naturally go up in value as it gets older. Throw in a few easy backlinks and 3 or so months later you will have PR. One hour of work and after a bit of waiting you can sell your unwanted site for at least 10 times the cost of original domain.

6) I get bored easily. During my working day I like to switch from one task to another. Working on a few projects at a time actually keeps me productive.

7) Websites with a revenue history go up in value. If your websites generates you $50/month for half a year you should be able to sell it for 12 x monthly revenue = $600. Therefore I have a whole bunch of these little money earners who I can always sell on.

8 ) I can manipulate traffic by redirecting it from a number of websites to a certain landing page or to kick start a new project. The same can be done with backlinks even though you might want to be careful interlinking your websites. Don’t make it look like a link farm.
