Deep link development for bloggers using CommentLuv

CommentLuv is a wordpress plugin that automatically displays the commentators last blog entry in his/her comment. Try searching for “Enable CommentLuv” + yourkeyword to find thousands of blog entries you can comment on. As usual there are two ways of doing this. Spam the crap out of every single blog you see and get most of your comments deleted (Not recommended) or post useful comments on related blogs you are interested in. You should end up with some nice, deep and permanent backlinks.
Use the pagerank search tool to arrange your search results by PR.

I tried this, but I found that all the backlinks were nofollow. Any way to find dofollow blogs only?
February 7th, 2009 at 1:33 pm
Nofollow links have been proven to work for SERPs even though they don’t affect your PR.
February 8th, 2009 at 4:08 pm
yeah I remember that post …. oh yeah I still have some of your post if you want it
February 15th, 2009 at 9:58 am
February 20th, 2009 at 12:58 pm
Yes, it is true that somehow “nofollow” links do affect your rankings although not everyone would agree on this. Apart from this, having a great imbalance of do-follow backlinks (too much) against little no-follow or even zero no-follow backlinks, you could also find that Google will penalize you on one or the other way. This will obviously NOT look normal.

CommentLuv is a great and most useful tool to add depth and breadth to blog comments and overall interactive discussions on blogs and blog postings
I guess the comments and luv keeps sharing so to speak
March 18th, 2009 at 4:22 pm
I have posted on a few sites with commentluv but really haven’t seen any great improvement. I guess it’s okay for trying to get better page rank, however I am not sure if it will increase visitors at all.
March 21st, 2009 at 4:46 am

March 21st, 2009 at 3:32 pm
I have a great software that finds various blogs for you to comment on including those with CommentLuv plugin. I will check with the programmer if I could share it here.

Hi there, I am glad that i found this website while searching google. Very indepth post. Thanks for sharing.
June 25th, 2009 at 2:21 pm
While commentluv is a great plugin, I think its still a debatable topic that nofollow links actually count. Sometimes it almost seems as though it depends on the site; if its a nothing site then the nofollowed link is almost worthless, but if its from a high authority site (such as hubpages, for example), then it can be pretty sweet.
June 28th, 2009 at 12:43 am
Thanks for this info! I am going to go check it out right now. What a great idea and a nice ethical bribe for more comments. Things that can get the conversation going are always welcome. I have some local bookmark in Thai language, and use pligg script if possible this technique is prompt in pligg module I will use usually, if you have a few time please see my site at SubKr

I use Comment Luv on Blogger. It might take a bit of fidling with to get it to work though. It took me a few hours! The plugin only works on some templates.
July 4th, 2009 at 3:07 am
I don’t worry about no-follow – I agree they work anyway. The comment luv hack is very handy to get links with anchor text nice and deep inside the blog.
Appreciate you posting this.

Comment Love is a great plugin
I don’t specifically seek out Comment Love blogs to comment on, but when I see a blog using it I will usually make a comment if I have something to say. Nofollow or not, I think being able to see what a blogger is actually writing about makes people more likely to visit.
July 12th, 2009 at 6:43 pm
Commentluv is quite good .
July 25th, 2009 at 6:39 pm
Very nice plug-in. Every blog should have this installed and enabled by default; it would allow much better traffic exchange between websites! And the developer should definitely consider expanding the compatibility to other CMS.
August 30th, 2009 at 5:37 pm
i love commentluv snd you. it is a great job pleas don’t stop it
September 23rd, 2009 at 8:16 pm
Excellent post. DF blogs are a great source of getting BL’s and should be used as just one source.
September 28th, 2009 at 2:13 am
There is always time to post some comments on how to be a successful affiliate marketer on a site where there are lots of wannabees!
October 3rd, 2009 at 1:53 pm
OK, now this is fun. Just came across this info today and implementing it. The above post are certainly interesting. Thanks
October 12th, 2009 at 8:44 pm
Although running a business sounds cool and all that. But in fact, I think you have to form a schedule so that you don
October 15th, 2009 at 8:04 am
Hi – I think I’ve had a lot of traffic from CommentLuv, but also a lot of ‘generic’ comment that adds nothing to the discussion. On balance, it is worth having, despite all the link junkies that leave meaningless remarks and have to be deleted.
October 21st, 2009 at 4:12 am
thanks for sharing with us. good job keep it up
October 23rd, 2009 at 9:55 am
Comment Luv is such a great tool for deep backlinks. It is a shame that people are abusing it and leaving meaningless comments.
Thus, so many site owners have made their sites no follow. However, I have still seen great benefits from sites that are no follow.
It is still worth it to make your comment on commentluv and keywordluv sites for 2 links.
Thanks for making them easy to find,
Richard
October 24th, 2009 at 1:19 pm
I’d like to ask the question from above again. It seems that all of the CommentLuv sites I find now are only giving nofollow links. Do ANY of them still give do follow links?
October 27th, 2009 at 7:53 am
Hi, Nice blog and nice post. Im newbie and have learn too many things from ur blog. Thanks
October 30th, 2009 at 8:47 pm
Good Morning just figured i will let you know i had a problem with your blog coming up blank also. Must be gremlins in the system.
November 10th, 2009 at 7:30 pm
Nice Post. I use the “title=”CommentLuv Enabled”” KEYPHRASE
Works well to get niche sites.
December 18th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
Hi Ilia
I’ve seen CommentLuv on a few blogs… it looks great and it must encourage people to leave a comment.
But I’m still in two minds.
Rhys makes the point about encouraging comments that don’t add to the discussion, which presumably means they are just looking for a link, and that is my big fear.
Good looking site BTW, notice that you are a Thesis man.
December 22nd, 2009 at 8:08 am
If you have a non blog website does it still count as a link if you comment on a commentluv blog? Any advice would be appreciated.
January 14th, 2010 at 4:05 pm
Don’t be silly. You made a big impact with your speech, bigger than you probably know. As for the series – I have work to do too
January 15th, 2010 at 3:16 pm
Wheres the luv here? No really thanks for the info I just started using commentluv today and am waiting to see how it effects my SERPS.
February 7th, 2010 at 2:57 pm
Hi Ilia
I’ve just installed CommentLuv on my site in order to try and increase the comments on my posts.
I’m hoping that comments will still add to the discussion and if they don’t, I can delete them.
I’ve noticed that CommentLuv sites are almost like a blogging community and lots of the bloggers comment on each others sites.
February 8th, 2010 at 6:48 pm
Hello,
I have spent some great time to go through this wanderful blog.
I love your original presentations. This is one of the best blog I have ever seen. Congratulations
Very Elegant. Incredible informations. Very usufull.
MY TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS:
1- KEYWORDS
Watch position and density in every section of yuor content.
2- CONTENT
Content is king, so be sure to have good, well-written and unique content that will focus on your primary keyword or keyword phrase.
3. BACK LINKS
Build a network of quality backlinks using your keyword phrase as the link.
All of these above are increadible inter connected.
LAST but more important tip:
THE FIRST TOP LEFT PORTION OF THE SCREEN is the section of your web page where you need to concentrate your space for; keywords, related content, links.

Ca m a l’air d etre un pluggin solide et interessant. Mais comment combattre les ‘spammeurs’? Quelqu’un aurait une idee ou un autre outils qui aide a limiter les commentaires spams..?
April 12th, 2010 at 3:53 pm
What are the benefits for the website who has CommentLuv installed? One of my friends is trying to talk me into using it on my site, but I just don’t know.
April 19th, 2010 at 1:27 am
Great points! Sometimes when I look around I can find some free information that is more valuable than some paid ebook or video course. Thanks for providing this info
April 22nd, 2010 at 12:55 pm
I actually don’t like the so called work from home guru’s they simply cheat the newbie’s and make money themselves. There are a few people who advise some great recommendations and it is genuinely welcomed.
April 25th, 2010 at 7:16 am
I think using it may attract you more web visitors who need to popular their own blog with latest blog posts
May 7th, 2010 at 4:37 am
One of the benefits would be more user interaction and hence more traffic to your site. This could help your brand name or general popularity of your website. But i would suggest to install a captcha pluggin as well since spammers will definitely try to spam yours.. Good luck.
May 23rd, 2010 at 12:07 pm
I see where commentluv has a plugin for wordpress, but my blog is a Joomla CMS. do they have a plugin for Joomla?
July 2nd, 2010 at 3:51 pm
Very useful and informative blog post concerning Deep link development for bloggers using CommentLuv. I have bookmarked your blog for future posts and I will also refer your blog to my friends.
July 12th, 2010 at 6:25 pm
commentLuv is really a great new tool for SEO. this helps the seo specialist makes their task easier and precise. minimizing the waste of time on looking reliable sites to comment on. i was amzed by this tool on the first time i used it.
thanks a lot.
August 6th, 2010 at 12:13 am
I just learned somthing about commentluv and feedburner that I’m passig around because it influances that links.
“One thing many people overlook if that IF you are using FeedBurner – be sure to turn off stats tracking, as they will replace direct URL to your blog post (what you want) with their tracking code.”
Wow, I did not know that. I need to go and shut that off on my sites. Do you have the link to the post you did on this? I’d like to read it and pass this intel around, i don’t think many people are aware of this.
…kudos to the author of this fine post as well. “-) You are listing #5 page one for ‘seo commentluv.”
August 24th, 2010 at 12:24 am
You can also use Google image search to find quality websites offering “do follow” link love and the results are in general better.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:12 am
I am hearing that commentluv is on the way our and being replaced by Disqus.
August 24th, 2010 at 6:20 pm
There are programs out there that allow you to search only for do follow blogs and ones that have keyword love. Doing this will create permanent one way links.
Web Design Santa Rosa
August 26th, 2010 at 7:35 pm
It’s not necessary to have only do-follow back links, this is a big misunderstanding and a mistake made by a lot of bloggers.
August 27th, 2010 at 2:42 am
Some sites put fake commentLuv and comment forms on their sites just to drive traffic to the pages and serve loads of popup ads. Make sure you have adblock plus installed
August 27th, 2010 at 2:44 am
I got scammed by the fake commenLuv popups from a make money online type site
August 29th, 2010 at 8:42 am
Backlinking is the one of best long term strategies to high page ranking BUT it must be done in a way that provides value to the blogs you link to. In order to obtain good quality links you must be commenting on good quality blogs. As with all of your efforts to have a relevant website, providing good comments which add value. Unfortunately a lot of comments made on blog posts are Simple one sentence remarks from businesses which have no relationship to the topic.
Do your research.
September 22nd, 2010 at 9:20 pm
Commentluv are useful plug-in as I experience. It lets you to put baclinks permanently.Posting some of your comment are the best example that commentluv is useful. And by using online marketing coaching it adds you more knowledge in commentluv style.
October 24th, 2010 at 7:25 am
With commentluv, you can build a great community of blogger, I am using it for my blog too. Thank you for search tip.
November 4th, 2010 at 11:08 am
You know, I think the Commentluv plugin is one of the most inventive plugins ever existed, it’s a single important tool whereby the blogger survives and how favourably – he gets deep links to his individual blog posts when he gets a link to his home page all at once . . .
This plugin is really one to get excited about but it seems to me that I’m the only person on the planet that don’t get a “recent post” from the Commentluv plugin!
That makes me so miserable. (I think it has somehting to do with the theme I use and strongly think about changing it to a paid and up-to-date theme such the Thesis-themes.)
November 8th, 2010 at 2:44 am
Search Google for things like “do follow commentluv tech blog” and “commentluv do follow blog”
November 17th, 2010 at 1:58 am
Commentluv is one of the best wordpress plugins a website can have. It helps get users talking about your posts and engages them to keep coming back to your site.
December 3rd, 2010 at 10:27 am
I also think that commentluv is very helpful in SEO, as you can have 2 different links placed in one website.
December 25th, 2010 at 3:39 am
I still comment on most blog posts I read to give feedback to the poster and to build a relationship, but I see commentluv as an added bonus when I stumble upon blogs that happen to have it enabled.
I use the plugin in a few of my sites, but my concern is getting increased spam because of it.
December 25th, 2010 at 5:35 am
Ryan
I’ve recently installed the GASP antispam plugin and my spam is almost zero.
Just Google GASP plugin and you should find it.
This plugin is by Andy Bailey, the CommentLuv plugin man so it has a good pedigree.
January 30th, 2011 at 9:51 pm
I agree with you.Commentluv is the best of all plugins.I used commentluv for my post.

I would like to commend you on such a very informative posts. Thanks for sharing the idea to us. Blogs that have commentluv application is really awesome. Its very easy to use and can ensure you of good blog sites in search engines. I am using this and it really great.
March 30th, 2011 at 2:53 pm
It does seem that because blogs are so often spammed that more are going nofollow. This in turn, I think, will mean that Google will have to attribute even a little bit of weight to nofollows too….I hope!
April 1st, 2011 at 12:30 am
Ok this is funny because I am pretty sure that I have scrolled through a lot of spam comments here. Which reminds me of the other day before I put the comment luv button on my other site. I had to delete some 900 spam comments. I have just read some comments today and at least people are trying to talk about the topic at hand. I so far have found that it brings better quality conversations to the site as people realize otherwise they will be getting no Luv.
April 1st, 2011 at 12:33 am
Ha ha its pretty early in the morning I forgot to add the // lol….
April 15th, 2011 at 5:53 am
Can anyone explain the difference between dofollow and nofollow? does it mean search engines will not follows the links?
April 26th, 2011 at 5:16 am
I have recently purchase domain for word press blog but i little problem occur, i organic search Google cannot pick it description it just get some lines from any post of blog.
June 6th, 2011 at 9:25 pm
First of all thanks for the post on Commentluv. Do you have any thoughts on the SEO power of blog comments? I’m still in the process of testing it myself
Just curious if you or anyone has already done the research.
All the best.
June 18th, 2011 at 11:52 pm
I am gonna luv Commentluv
What a great share it is.
Thanks
June 24th, 2011 at 4:53 pm
The thing search engines or looking for is authentic high quality content. That means it must be natural. Or at least natural looking. So if you imagine a dedicated blogger would besieging down and making comments on forums and blogs. They would vary as to whether they follow or no follow, which is what search engines are expecting to see. Obviously getting a link on high ranking authority site does a lot for your ranking but having the track record of natural organic linking process help a lot. Hope this helps. Russ
August 23rd, 2011 at 7:26 pm
I think commentluv is a great tool for the people who leave comments and also the blogger. Both sides are rewarded with what they are looking for, ie backlinks and lots of comments.
September 10th, 2011 at 12:30 pm

December 13th, 2011 at 2:58 pm

December 25th, 2011 at 1:53 am
The most important SEO tip I can give you based on my experience, as a professional SEO article writer is that the rule for standard original writing applies to creating SEO content as well.
