Just an update

Wow! Almost half a year went past since my last post. Time flies so quickly. Hope you guys been good. A few of you have been genuinely worried about me so I thought I would post a quick update.

I’m doing pretty good. The reason why I have not posted in such a long time is because my game has somewhat changed. I no longer have any need for SEO and therefore I had little interest in it. In fact I stopped paying any attention to SEO nor any of the news related to it. I should really ask you guys if I missed anything interesting. I pretty much just buy traffic from various sources and drive it to my little pages monetized in 3 different ways simultaneously (CPA, PPI and Commission (Possibly 4 ways with cookie stuffing I chose not to get involved in)). I wish I could go into more detail but it looks like I am the only person doing this at the moment and I really don’t need any competition because I will have no edge what so ever. Anyone can just copy me within a few hours and take half my pie. So yea, instead of the usual backlink bombardments I now spend most of my time in this chair brainstorming for ideas while unleashing my fury on a few squeezable stress toys.

When it comes to this blog I really don’t know what to do. It’s unlikely that I will be able to make interesting posts consistently (Unless I start going off on a bit of a tangent and start blogging about random things in my life like owning noobs at BFBC2 and learning how to play my new piano I just bought). It might be a good idea to invite some guest bloggers however I’m not sure I want them to start plugging links left right and centre. From day one this was a not for profit blog and I never really tried to sell you anything. The only time I plugged my affiliate links was when they were relevant to my post, not the other way around. So let me know if you have any ideas about the future of this blog.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to make $1000 a month on internet?

There you have a post! Teach! I know I might be difficult to do it regularly but if you still have people following you is because you have a few interesting things to say…

The thing is, you can make $1000/month with pretty much any method. The only downside is that 95% of the people will never implement it because it will either look like hard work to them or they will simply move on to find something “better”. I’ve been coaching somebody for 3 weeks at the end of which he said… “Well, this will take time and I need money quicker. You have any other methods?” even though in 3 weeks he spent “doubting” my proven method he would have had his money by then. There were cases of people paying $2000 for an exclusive method and not actually reading past the first page.

The problem is not in methods. The problem is in motivation or something else I can’t even understand. I can spend a year advising people on what to do but if they don’t take any action they will never get anywhere. At the end of the day you can make $1000/month even registering to 100 forums every day a and making a few posts with a sad story, begging for money. Nobody is going to do it though.

Sorry for this little rant.

PS: Ooops, somewhat misunderstood your question. I guess based on the rant above I would say… Take action, take action and take more action.

Heheheheh! There is life after SEO! I really like that concept and am glad that you’ve found the way, Ilia! As far as this blog is concerned it does leave a bit of a challenge. It would be a sad waste to just let it go, but maybe you must look at selling it on? I dunno.

Well whatever the new game is you can always share your thoughts on that with us all. It is very hard to share something which you have made by yourself and kept it clean with anyone else so I understand your doubts about giving to guest blogger. But take you time I am sure things will work out fine and yes i like what you wrote on earning $1000.It is only actions which will get us to it.

I agree with you Ilia, it would be sad to see it go. I’ve learned a lot from you over the past couple of years. Having it dormant is also no good, so maybe the guest post option might be a viable alternative? Maybe just with strict criteria as far as affiliate links are concerned?

Important is quality not quantity. Better less posts but quality than a lot of posts “without point”. So go on! I love this blog
