Twitter money blueprint

Let me teach you a straight forward way to make some cash with Twitter and ClickBank. This method is a perfect side project because it is pretty automated. You probably won’t make millions but $60/day is very doable and requires little effort.
Step 1.
Go to Twitter and sign up. Think of a theme for your account. Lets say that you are going to be a female tennis player. The reason why I went for a female is because sex sells and a much higher % of people are going to follow you. Customize your profile and create a unique template using prettytweet.com
Step 2.
Make a few Tweets about the most random stuff. For example: “Just going out to play some tennis” and “Feeling tired and hungry” etc.
Step 3.
Grab yourself a Twitter friend adder. I personally use the one from livelybrowser.com because I’m sooo awesome I hang around with other marketeers, people give me their products either for free or with a discount. If you don’t feel like spending money I’ve seen tons of different friend adders out there.
Step 4.
Add around 400 friends interested in tennis, wait for a day and add another 400. Continue adding friends every day until you reach 2000 (maximum). Then delete the ones that don’t follow you and repeat the process. Once you reach 2000 followers you will be able to add as many as you like. I suggest you take it easy because you might get banned for aggressive following. The twitter adder I use does everything automatically so all I need to do is click and let it do the work over night. (Don’t forget to carry on posting random updates and responses)
Step 5.
Now when you have a bunch of followers you can go to ClickBank and search the marketplace for a product you can flog to your “friends”. But how do you know which products they might be interested in? Twitter products! There are over 60 various Twitter traffic systems and money making techniques being sold. Some will pay you over $40/sale. If you have 4000 followers on Twitter, making 3 or 4 sales should be straight forward.
Step 5.
Now remember your tennis theme? Well, some of your followers (Those that did not add you purely because you appeared to be a female) are also interested in tennis. Why not sell them some tennis rackets or training videos? Or maybe some sports drinks or other enhancers.
Step 6.
Run to the bank with your cheques.

I found that these profiles are becoming ridiculously obvious. Who is going to follow someone with only a few random tweets? Why would that profile have so many followers and so few actual relevant activity? That’s really the giveaway.

This is the second blog which I see someone posting this method of monetizing Twitter. Did you try this personally?

Liza,
There are plenty of ignorant users still. Besides, some people automatically follow back.
plin,
I obviously did. I would not write it in the first person otherwise.

I’m always a bit troubled when I read things like this, what possible satisfaction can there be in earning money from people you feel are ignorant while abusing the system? I’ve had a rash of people I believe are doing this or something similar who’s account have been banned. I never automatically follow anyone, and when I went to view their profile I got the message to move along, nothing to see here, this account has been banned. I always look at their profiles and the minute I see they have more than a couple hundred I delete the request knowing it’s garbage…spam. Anything that looks like a business gets automatically deleted.
Personally, I wish people would stop spreading how to’s like this. It only ads to spam, which creates problems for the rest of us. Automatic adders aren’t allowed, it seems from those accounts being banned they are indeed catching people.
According to your profile, you’ve been a successful business person since the age of 15? I’d really like to see someone with your apparent ability do something worthwhile– Guess we’re all entitled to our opinions

Sandy, I appreciate your concerns however the whole point of this blog is to expose white and BLACK hat marketing tactics. If this is not your cup of tea, nobody is forcing you to adopt such tactics nor come here.
I am simply blogging about the reality. If this blog post did not exist, it would not wipe the existence of this Twitter method. People were, do and will abuse the system unless some changes are made on Twitter side. Rules are there to be pushed. Who knows what would have happened if that black woman did not challenge racial laws in 1955 by sitting at the front of the bus.
I respect your ethical values and opinions. I expect at least a bit of respect in return. There is absolutely no need for your remarks about my age or occupation. I am a person and entitled to freedom in action and speech.
Aggressive marketing is not for faint hearted. Take all those companies that made and are still making money from M.J’s death. Take a look around… Get real! Think about millions of smoking related deaths and the amount of money people make selling cigarettes. Think about all the marketing behind the sales of guns in US and the number of gun related deaths each year. Huge pharmaceutical companies make billions by taking last money from critically ill people. Selling a tennis players some tennis rackets on Twitter that the person actually wants and spends his disposable income on, is nowhere near to all the scams and tricks out there.
So how about you “do something worthwhile” and campaign on a large scale in order to actually make a difference if you have such strong views. There tons of organisations you can join.

This post sure has opened a can of worms. It can be done perfectly legitimately too, for example if you grab a keyword rich username for your specific niche, and use this process to drive targeted traffic to your page.

Ilia, your response to Sandy’s comment smacks of a maturity far beyond your years. Hats off and big respect to you for a mature and measured answer.

Twitter is without a doubt the best way to share and discover what is happening right now.

is this really working? The problem is to get the followers that interested to some niche or category… I have some same project to, but I think its failed because I don’t have a good follower for some niche.

The key to this is having the right niche. Something consumer product oriented might be best.
